“…Taylor, woke up Monday morning crying…”

Thank you so much. My almost 3 year old daughter, Taylor, woke up Monday morning crying with her ear and after seeing her doctor I went to the pharmacy to fill her Amoxicilin and picked up a box of your Earache Tablets. I got her home and gave her a dose of her antibiotic and then I gave her just 2 of the tablets. Within 30 minutes she was saying her ear was “all better”. I’m glad I found Hyland’s homeopathic medicines. Again thank you from me and Taylor.H

“…his pain seemed to stop almost immediately.”

Dear Hyland’s,

I wanted to let your company know I am very pleased with the remedies for teething and earache.  My son has had an earache for a few weeks so I tried the earache formula on myself to, as I have the same problem and it works.  So I gave him the appropriate amount and his pain seemed to stop almost immediately.  I have also used the teething formulation with him and it works very effectively.  I will continue to purchase and use your items.  Our local grocery store and drugstore carry some of your products which makes it very convenient.

Thank you for providing a resource for homeopathic remedies in my community.

Sincerely,

Naomi S., Mom to Travis 6 mos. old.

“I just wanted to say thank you…”

I just wanted to say thank you for making the Hyland’s Teething Tablets as well as the Earache Tablets.  I have been using the teething tablets for my son, who  is now 16 1/2 months old, since he was 5 months old. He loves the tablets so much, that when he sees me pull out the bottle, he drops everything to come and get them.  I have been very pleased with the tablets as I don’t have to “drug” my child all the time with Tylenol or Motrin.  I am so pleased with the tablets that I refer them to everyone I know with children… I even go up to people I don’t know when I see their child fussy and chewing on toys, teething rings, etc, to tell them about the tablets!!!  The earache tablets work wonders also…

Thank you again , Charmaine M.

“…we don’t want to overmedicate the kids…”

At the onset of indication of pain and discomfort for both my 3 year old and 17 month old, within an hour of taking Hyland’s Earache Tablets, they were no longer showing any signs of discomfort. Because we don’t want to overmedicate the kids, we give them the little magic pills. Four out of five times we’ve not had to take them to the doctor.

Treating Swimmer’s Ear at Home is Easy!

When swimmers come across the itchy, annoying and painful symptoms of swimmer’s ear, it can result in a trip to the doctor’s office for a round of prescription antibiotics and painkillers. But what people don’t know is that many of these doctor’s visits don’t have to be the first line of treatment! According to the Mayo Clinic (provide link address), self-care steps can be used to treat most cases of swimmer’s ear without the use of prescriptions or costly visits to your local doctor’s office – good news for those of us who are uninsured or have more important things to do than spend unnecessary time and money at the clinic.

kids-in-pool4.jpgSwimmer’s ear, or otis externa, is a painful infection of the skin lining the ear canal, often brought on by exposure to water. Four out of every 1,000 people are affected annually by swimmer’s ear including children and adults alike, but the risk increases for avid swimmers who are constantly in the water. Also, experts say that once an individual has contracted swimmer’s ear, the risk of contracting it again is significantly higher.

To limit the risk of becoming infected with swimmer’s ear be sure to:

  • Keep your ears dry. Dry your outer ear thoroughly after exposure to moisture from swimming or bathing with a clean towel. Note: never insert your finger or any sharp or hard object into your ear.
  • Avoid swimming in polluted water.
  • If you do develop swimmer’s ear, before making a trip to the doctor and turning to prescription antibiotics to deal with swimmer’s ear, try following these easy tips to heal the infection at home:

  • Place a warm (not hot) heating pad over or against your ear to help reduce pain.
  • Keep your ear dry while it’s healing. Use earplugs when showering or bathing. Don’t swim or clean your ears until the infection is gone.
  • Use natural earache treatments such as Hyland’s Earache Drops to relieve earache symptoms including throbbing, pulsing pain, burning sensation, and ear congestion (www.hylandsearache.com).
  • If after two days symptoms persist, it is recommended that you see a doctor, but these handy tips should help to clear most cases of swimmer’s ear and to ensure your next visit to the pool doesn’t end with an unnecessary trip to the doctor’s office. in.
